Argentine Tango Argentine Tango originated in Argentina and Uruguay in the early 1900's.The three main dances that make up the Argentine Tango genre are TANGO, MILONGA and VALS. Some popular orchestras and styles of music are Di Sarli, D'Arienzo, Cannaro and Pugliese. Argentine Tango is very different from ballroom tango. There is no basic step in Argentine Tango. It is an entirely improvisational dance. |
